Fundy Phantoms player Bo Lattie was killed in a car accident on September 4th in Moose River Nova Scotia. Bo played the 2009-2010 season with the Phantoms. The league executive and it's member teams pass on their deepest sympathies to the Lattie family and the Phantom organization.
Kings Withdraw, Clippers Move To West Division

At the league meeting in Halifax yesterday, it was announced that the Yarmouth Kings would cease operations for this season. The team was unable to build an executive to run it's operationsand as such decided not to carry on. As a result,to balance the divisions, it was decided by a vote that the Chester Clippers will join the West Division for the 2010-2011 season. This decision will be reviewed after the season with the Clippers having the option to move back to the Central Division. The league schedule is being reworked and will hopefully be released in the next two weeks.

The Oxford Colts have announced their training camp will open on September 11 at 3:00 PM in Springhill. Cost will be $10 per session. Full details can be found on their website.

The Chester Clippers have named former assistant coach Eddie young as the teams new Head Coach, and the Eastern Shore Jr. Mariners named Alden Paul their new bench boss as the teams prepare to retool heading into the 2010-2011 season. Several teams have already announced training camp dates and players interested are urged to check out the teams websites for camp dates.
